Hi, I’m Gerry
Here’s me in the 1970s happily stored in a basket & being raised by incredibly creative & practical parents where they showed me that creating something yourself brings a bucket load of satisfaction and solace. Actually it was probably a basket load.
So it was no surprise that it wasn’t long before I was hand stitching patchwork quilts, making my own clothes, knitting, crocheting and finally in the 90s I got started on the path of learning how to make my own willow baskets.
Now, after working as a Primary School teacher and raising a clutch of boys, I want to share the short cuts to self soothing and solace that I’ve found through my creativity.
